Overview
Regmyr is an electrical contractor based in Skåne, doing installations and service work for both residential and commercial clients. Like many skilled-trade businesses, they were great at the work but had a website that didn't reflect it. Outdated design, no clear service overview, and no easy way for a potential customer to get in touch. I handled the full process: UX, visual design, and frontend build.
Challenge
The site wasn't bringing in work. Most new customers came through word of mouth, which is fine until you want to grow. The existing page had no clear structure. Visitors couldn't quickly tell what services were offered, what area Regmyr covered, or how to make contact. The call to action was a generic email address buried at the bottom. On mobile, the site was nearly unusable.
Approach
I mapped out the core jobs a prospective customer needs to do when landing on a trades website: verify they cover my area, confirm they do the type of work I need, and make it easy to contact. I restructured the site around those three things. Services were broken into clear categories with short, plain-language descriptions. A prominent contact form with a fast-response promise replaced the email address. The visual design was kept clean and trustworthy, professional without being corporate. Built and shipped in code, mobile-first.
Highlights
- Designed and built the full website from scratch: UX, visual design, and frontend
- Restructured content around how customers actually evaluate a trades company
- Replaced a buried email address with a prominent, low-friction contact form
- Mobile-first build, since the majority of local search traffic comes from phones
- Delivered a site the client could be proud to send customers to
